3: Connect to Production using the VPN

Audienti's supplied key for this is a shared key with all developers. Please ensure care when use. It is regularly rotated to keep legacy personnel from using the system.

Installing a VPN Client

Prerequisites

• A VPN client that supports OpenVPN, like TunnelBlick for MacOS (https://tunnelblick.net/cConfigT.html)

To install a new key, change to the folder containing the key (audienti repo), type $>open NewSuppliedKeyName.ovpn. This will ask you for the admin password to install the key. You will need to enter an ssh password as well for the key, that is generated and supplied as part of the key's credentials.

Once this is done, it should install it into your system setup, and make this key available to you on a pulldown menu.

When connecting, I have my options currently set to push all traffic through the VPN. This simplifies hostname configuration issues.
